Father’s Day Memorial Service
30 August 2024
A wonderful dedication to all of the wonderful Fathers who have passed on and fathers who are grieving the loss of a child will be held at the Great Northern Garden of Remembrance, Deception Bay on Friday, 30th 2024.
The Management & Staff of Great Northern invites you to join us in this special remembrance and celebration in our chapel at 31-35 Tallowwood Drive, Deception Bay. Arrival is from 6.00pm for an event start of 6.30pm.

Open Day

The Management & Staff of the Great Northern Garden of Remembrance wishes to invite you & your family to our Annual Open Day, running from 10am to 3 pm on Saturday, September 7th, 2024.
This free event will showcase our beautiful premises and memorial gardens. We will also aim to allay fears and dispel the myths and concerns that surround the cremation process. We feel it is important to understand how the facility works, so there is no fear of what is a straight-forward process, carried out with great care, sensitivity, and dignity.
There will be a Free Sausage Sizzle, Coffee and Dessert Vans with snacks, cakes and biscuits in our refreshments lounge. There will also be a Classic Car Show by Cardigras from 10am to 1pm with trophies and cash prizes to be awarded.

- Behind the scenes of Great Northern tours
- Funeral information
- Pre-arrangement information
- Estate and Wills information
- ‘Everything about celebrants’ and the role they play in farewells
Christmas Memorial Service

The Management & Staff of Great Northern Garden of Remembrance wishes to invite you & your family to our Christmas Memorial Service on December 13th to remember, reflect and pay tribute to those loved ones who have passed on. Arrival is from 6pm for a 6:30pm start.
